Weekday Unlocking Gamification is a structured engagement method designed to enhance participation in Action Modules within the Eubrics platform. It follows a controlled unlocking logic that encourages habit formation and team collaboration by gradually making content available on weekdays.
- The learning phase runs for a set duration (typically 1-2 weeks).
- All items are unlocked from the start date to the end date.
- Participants can complete activities at their own pace within this window.
- Example: If the learning phase runs from March 1 to March 10, all learning materials remain open for these 10 days.
- The action phase typically lasts 21 days (configurable).
- Unlike the learning phase, not all items are unlocked at once.
- Items unlock one at a time on each weekday (Monday to Friday).
- This gradual unlocking encourages daily engagement and reinforces habit formation.
- Saturday & Sunday are rest days—no new items unlock.
- Participants can use weekends to catch up on missed activities from the week.
- This structure ensures consistent engagement over time, rather than participants rushing through tasks at once.
-
Activity Completion Points
- Earned by completing each activity.
-
Team Bonus Points
- Given when all team members complete an activity within the deadline.
- No partial points are awarded.
-
Consistency Points
- Rewarded for maintaining daily streaks.
- The more consistent a participant is, the more points they earn.
- 10 points for each completed activity.
- 25 bonus points if all team members complete the learning phase within the deadline.
- 10 points per completed action.
- 7 bonus points per team member if the entire team completes the activity for the day.
- Consistency Points compound for each unique day of habit application:
- Day 1 → 5 points
- Day 2 → 10 points
- Day 3 → 15 points
- …up to Day 21 → 105 points per day
- Missing a day does not reset the streak.
- Completing multiple activities on the same day does not count toward streak points.
- Participants can make up for missed activities on weekends.
- Ranks participants based on their accumulated points.
- Ranks teams based on the combined total of all individual points within the team.
This structured unlocking and point system drives engagement, ensures consistency, and fosters teamwork. By spreading activities across multiple days and rewarding consistent participation, the Weekday Unlocking Gamification method makes learning and action-based challenges more effective and impactful.
