Weekly unlocking is a gamification method used within Action Modules on the Eubrics platform. This system is designed to increase engagement by gradually unlocking content on a week-by-week basis, ensuring that participants complete tasks within a structured timeframe.
- There is no separate learning and action phase—everything runs in a continuous weekly cycle.
- Each week starts on Monday and ends on Sunday.
- A set of items unlocks at the start of each week and remains available until the end of that week.
- Participants must complete all assigned items before Sunday to maximize their points.
-
Activity Completion Points
- Earned by completing each assigned activity.
-
Team Bonus Points
- Awarded if all team members complete the assigned activities within the week.
- No partial points are given.
-
Consistency Points
- Earned by meeting the weekly deadline (completing all assigned activities by Sunday).
- The more consecutive weeks a participant meets their deadline, the higher their consistency score.
- 10 points for each completed activity.
- 25 bonus points awarded if the entire team completes the week’s tasks before Sunday.
- Consistency Points increase based on the number of consecutive weeks a participant meets the deadline.
- Week 1: 20 points
- Week 2: 2 × 20 = 40 points
- Week 3: 3 × 20 = 60 points
- Week 4: 4 × 20 = 80 points
This pattern continues, encouraging long-term participation and rewarding consistency.
-
Individual Leaderboard
- Ranks participants based on their accumulated points.
-
Team Leaderboard
- Ranks teams based on the combined total of all individual points.
This weekly unlocking approach ensures steady engagement while allowing flexibility within each week, making it easier for teams to collaborate and stay on track.
- Weekly unlocking works with the Manual Module.
- Streak Points are 20 for each unique week:
- Week 1 → 20 pts
- Week 2 → 40 pts
- Week 3 → 60 pts, etc.
- Team Bonus Points = 25 points (if all team members complete all items of the week).
- Each item completion = 10 points.
This structured approach ensures continuous learning and active participation while promoting team collaboration.
