¶ Journey Level Gamification
Journey Level Gamification is designed for learning journeys with multiple short modules, each lasting 1-2 weeks, with the entire journey typically completing within 1-2 months. This system is ideal for quick learning bursts, focusing on simple and motivating gamification elements like points and badges. It encourages timely progress and keeps learners engaged without overwhelming them.
¶ Points System
A straightforward points system incentivizes timely completion:
- 10 points for completing a module item within the deadline.
- 5 points for completing a module item after the deadline.
This approach rewards learners for on-time completion while still acknowledging their effort if they miss the deadline.
¶ Badges
Badges provide additional motivation and recognition:
- Trailblazer Badge: Awarded for completing the module on time.
- Perseverer Badge: Awarded for completing the module after the deadline.
Learners earn one badge per module, with the potential to earn multiple badges throughout the journey. For instance, in a journey with 5 modules, each user can earn up to 5 badges based on their completion status.
¶ How to Create Journey Level Gamification
To set up Journey Level Gamification, follow these steps:
¶ Step 1: Navigate to Gamification Settings
- Go to the Admin Panel → Gamification → Journey Level Gamification.
¶ Step 2: Configure Gamification Rules
- Select the Journey for which gamification is being set up.
- Choose the Points System:
- 10 points for on-time completion.
- 5 points for late completion.
- Enable Badges and define their criteria:
- Trailblazer Badge: On-time completion.
- Perseverer Badge: Late completion.
¶ Step 3: Save and Apply
- Click Save to apply the gamification settings to the journey.
- Learners will now start earning points and badges based on their module completion.
