AI Roleplay Calls are interactive simulations that allow users to practice conversations with AI-powered bots.
They help learners:
- Build confidence
- Improve communication skills
- Measure performance in real-world scenarios
You can add AI Roleplay Calls as parts of a Development-plan.
Creating AI Roleplay Calls gives learners a safe space to practice and refine their skills before applying them in real-world scenarios.
- Select the Development-plan where you want to add an AI Roleplay Call.
- In the Parts section, click Add AI Roleplay.
- Enter a short and clear name for this part.
- Acts as the identifier and is shown to the user.
Best Practice: Use 2–4 words and choose names that reflect the purpose (e.g., “Intro Call”, “Pitch Practice”).
- Set the date when this part should become available to users.
- Before this date, users will not be able to see or access the part.
Best Practice: Choose dates that align with your training schedule and readiness.
- Set the date by which this part should ideally be completed.
- Users will receive reminders around the end date.
- It’s a soft deadline (users can still complete it after the date).
Best Practice: Use end dates to encourage timely completion without blocking late learners.
Define what type of AI Roleplay Call this part represents:
- Initial Skill Check
- First AI roleplay call to measure baseline skills.
- Includes 1 bot only.
- Preceded by a practice call (up to 3 attempts).
- Used in before-and-after skill calculations.
Best Practice: Only one per Development-plan, recommended as the very first roleplay call.
-
Practice Calls
- For rehearsing skills with AI bots.
- Unlimited, based on subscription.
- Multiple bots can be assigned.
-
Final Skill Check
- Last AI roleplay call to measure improvement.
- Used in before-and-after analytics.
Best Practice: Only one per Development-plan, recommended as the final roleplay call.
Always begin with an Initial Skill Check and end with a Final Skill Check to track skill improvement accurately.
- After filling the basic details, click Next to proceed to the Assign Bots step.
- Currently, the available option is Moderate Bot.
- Select the bot(s) you want to assign.
- Once assigned, these bots will simulate conversations for the roleplay calls.
Best Practice: Assign bots that align with the scenario difficulty so learners gradually progress from easier to harder simulations.
¶ 5. Save and Review
- After assigning bots, click Save.
- The AI Roleplay Call will now appear under the Parts section of your Development-plan.
